We live and we hear but do we really listen?
The heart is ready to reveal only if we truly care.
We proclaim our own greatness looking for respect.
A man’s hope is dashed, left with only a glare.
Meekness to instruction swells to the surface
when we have belief and vision for another.
An eager ear follows patient listening
looking for answers with a life full of color.
When we are secure in whom we are,
we can help him hold God’s hand.
People are more interesting that they seem,
dig a little deeper and they soon will say “I can”
